FAQs

How did you get started in Children’s illustration?

As a teenager from London I grew up at a time when social media was just starting to grow in popularity back in 2004. I was always curious as to where my work fit into the world of art and would post many illustrations online. I was never aware of the opportunities available as a children’s illustrator until I researched the business side of illustration industry.

I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for the feedback during my college years; I would never have been able to recognise and develop my own drawing style during Life drawing class. Essentially developing my own signature drawing style over the years meant that I could enable myself to create something unique for clients with a personal touch. Many of my clients found me on social media which is how I began creating children’s illustration.
